{"id":889,"date":"2015-07-01T13:48:01","date_gmt":"2015-07-01T12:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/?page_id=889"},"modified":"2025-06-29T13:28:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-29T13:28:20","slug":"accumulator-cup-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/?page_id=889","title":{"rendered":"Accumulator Cup Info"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>On line registration available: <a href=\"https:\/\/registration.sunshineriding.co.uk\/eventregistration.html#ACC25\">Click Here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">This year&#8217;s Cup is on 19 July 2024 beginning at 9:30am<\/h1>\n<p>The Accumulator Cup is an annual One Day Event type competition.\u00a0 The rules for each show are specific and must be adhered to.\u00a0 Any competitor wishing to participate must book in advance, with entries closing o<strong>n <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0Thursday, 17 July at 6pm<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 <em>All entries received after this time will be returned.\u00a0 No exceptions.\u00a0<\/em>Times will be published on our Facebook Page on Friday before 5pm.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>GENERAL RULES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each participant may compete in as many or as few shows as they desire.<\/p>\n<p>No horse may compete twice in the same show.<\/p>\n<p>Head Judge&#8217;s decision is final. Any appeal to the show judge must be made immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Inappropriate turnout will result in disqualification from that event.<\/p>\n<p>Lateness to your event will result in disqualification from that event.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><em> Dressage times will be posted on Friday, 18 July about 5pm on our social media and websites.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Any disqualification or elimination will not be refunded the show fee.<\/p>\n<p>Points are awarded as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1st = 6, 2nd = 5, 3rd = 4, 4th = 3, 5th = 2, 6th = 1, Judges Special = 0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">There will be a Winner&#8217;s Medal for the highest placed rider who does all 4 disciplines but not the Accumulator Classes.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SHOWING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This Show has already been completed and all scores will carry over.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">THIS SHOW IS IN-HAND.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Attire:\u00a0 All participants must be dressed appropriately to their gender.<\/p>\n<p>Female:\u00a0 An appropriate flared skirt (for running) no shorter than the knee, plain blouse or camisole, jacket, boots, hat and gloves.\u00a0 Hats may be straw with small decoration.\u00a0 Gloves should be complementary colour.\u00a0 Your outfit may be as bright or as dark as you like but should compliment the colour of your horse.\u00a0 You may carry a small showing cane or whip.<\/p>\n<p>Male:\u00a0 Beige or light coloured trousers, shirt, waistcoat, plain tie with tie stick or pin, jacket, hat and gloves.\u00a0 Hats may be straw in the summer but must be bowler in the winter. You may wear a button, but it must coordinate with your outfit and your horse. Gloves should be complementary colour.\u00a0 Your outfit may be as bright or as dark as you like but should compliment the colour of your horse.<\/p>\n<p>Horses:\u00a0 May be plaited or unplaited depending upon breed.\u00a0 All horses will be marked on cleanliness, conformation and presentation.\u00a0 Hooves should be painted.\u00a0 Small showing bows are allowed.\u00a0 Please place the appropriate ribbon in your horses tail if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please contact Kimberly or Fiona in the Office for clarification.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Female-Attire-e1435745529678.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-890\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Female-Attire-e1435745529678.jpg\" alt=\"Female Attire\" width=\"166\" height=\"136\" \/><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Male-Attire-e1435746278313.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-891\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sunshineriding.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Male-Attire-e1435746278313.jpg\" alt=\"Male Attire\" width=\"118\" height=\"138\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>DRESSAGE SHOW<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All competitors for the Cup will be using the Novice Test.\u00a0 This test is walk, trot &amp; canter.<br \/>If you are wanting to compete solely in Dressage, then the following Tests will be used:\u00a0 Class 30 &#8212; Intro 1, Class 31&#8211; Prelim 2.\u00a0 You can compete in Class 32 &#8212; Novice 2 even if you are not doing the whole of the Accumulator.<br \/>Rosettes for Places 1 &#8211; 6<br \/>Attire:<br \/>All participants are to wear either cream or white jodhpurs, white shirt, plain tie with pin or cravat with pin, dark jacket, boots and white gloves.<br \/>Competitors with hair longer than collar length must wear a hair net.<br \/>All hats to meet the appropriate Pas 015 Kitemark and must be black in the majority.<br \/>You may carry a schooling whip and use spurs if necessary if you are not using a Sunshine Riding School horse.<br \/>All horses must be plaited or unplaited as per their breed.<\/p>\n<p>SHOW JUMPING<br \/>This will start at 1:30pm and be held in our Main Arena. We will start with 50cm, then 60, 70 and return to the lower jumps during Cross Country.<br \/>You may compete in the following Classes:<br \/>Class 2 \u2013 Introduction: 7 jumps over 40cm cross poles<br \/>Class 3 \u2013 Standard: 7 jumps over 50cm cross poles and uprights<br \/>Class 4 \u2013 Lower Novice: 8 Jumps over 60cm cross poles, upright and fillers<br \/>Class 5 \u2013 Upper Novice: 8 Jumps over 70cm cross poles, uprights, fillers and spreads<br \/>Class 6 \u2013 Advanced: 9 Jumps over 80cm uprights, fillers, spreads and Liverpool.<br \/>For the Accumulator Cup you must compete in Class 5&#8211; 70cm for Juniors and Class 6 &#8212; 80cm for Seniors.<br \/>All competitors are to jump fences 1 to 9 in order with a follow-on Jump Off Round.<br \/>Faults are as follows:<br \/>Dropped Fence&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;4<br \/>Refused Fence &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;4<br \/>Run Out &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.4<br \/>Stopping At All &#8230;&#8230;..4<br \/>Crossing Tracks* &#8230;. 4<br \/>Missed Fence &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..8<\/p>\n<p>Failure to Appear on Time &#8230;&#8230;.Elimination<br \/>3 Refusals &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;Elimination<br \/>Falling Off &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;Elimination<br \/>*Judges discretion<br \/><em>Rider &amp; horse may retire from the course at any point.\u00a0 Once a horse has retired, they may not re-enter or re-try that class. There are no refunds should the combination retire.<\/em><br \/>Attire:<br \/>All participants are to wear either cream or white jodhpurs, white shirt, plain tie with pin or cravat with pin, dark jacket, boots and gloves.<br \/>Cross Country<br \/>This is a follow-on event from the Show Jumping so there will be no change of clothes required.
